Royal Decree = The promotion of one territories as states under the Royal Decree on Government and the formation of certain state distinctions. Article I - Of State Distinctions Only the capital which the Crown resides in may hold the title of Archduchy. All other states with their lawful authority residing in the Crown shall hold the title of Duchy. All other monarchical states may call themselves according to the title of their lawful authority. All states with their lawful authority residing with the Crown and the local peoples, ie a republican system, shall hold the title of Republic. All states with their governance being that of a direct democracy shall hold the title of Commonwealth. Article II - Of Promotion The Crown therefore promotes the capital of Curia Ninjoa to the status of a state according to Article III of the Royal Decree on Government. It shall be renamed as the "Archduchy of Saint Augustine". The City of Curia Ninjoa shall be renamed as "Saint Augustine". Article III - Other Provisions This act shall be refered to as Royal Decree 26.2 or as the Royal Decree on State Distinctions.
